Arriving with the same effortless charisma as their post-punk influences, the four members of Nantes (pronounced narnce) came together late 2010 and burst onto the scene in 2011 with the commanding single ‘Fly’. Second single ‘Charlie’ is similarly captivating with a piano bounce and compelling vocals sitting atop with a fresh optimistic flavour. The best is still to come. Nantes’ recently released debut – simply titled EP - is another impressive accomplishment for this young band. It expands on the textured celebration of the singles with ambition and class, while offering a clear vision of the future.
