There is an abundance of lush grass throughout the venue to laze around on also so please feel free to bring a picnic rug.
WRISTBANDS & TICKET EXCHANGE
We are using the same system we used last year for 2012’s event and the tickets that are issued this year are also a wristband and need to be worn for the duration of the event. So hold onto your ticket/wristband… please don’t lose it! Once you enter the festival site your wristband barcode will be scanned. Please note all of your personal information such as name & address is held on the bar code.
MOTORHOMES & CAMPERVANS
We are going to limit the number of camper van and motor home tickets this year due to the limited capacity available on site. Cars will not be allowed into the campervan/motor home area at all and therefore BYO caravans, trailer tents etc are not permitted either.
There is going to be tighter security in 2012 on the Wiseman’s Ferry side of the river, ferry and the road leading to the leading up to the event site. Please note that cars, jeeps with seats folded down, station wagons or vans with a mattress in the back are not considered ’motor homes’ and you will be sent back over the ferry to park your vehicle if you do not turn up in a motor home or camper van and your money will not be refunded we are afraid.
Due to fire, health and safety regulations, strictly no tents will be allowed in the campervan and motor home area sadly we have to be strict this year.
We are going to have a designated vehicle and ticket checking area which is situated on private land before the festival as opposed to the road leading onto the site to avoid traffic congestion. Once your vehicle has been checked for a valid motor home pass, your wristbands scanned and your vehicle searched for alcohol, drugs and glass (please see what not to bring) you will be given a clearance pass which you will then need to produce at the final festival check point prior to driving onto the site.
Please note you will receive full instructions when we send out your info pack including the motor home vehicle pass which will include a map telling you the various routes which campervans need to take to enter the festival site. Please note that motorhomes CANNOT use the ‘Webb’s Creek Car Ferry’ due to the festival traffic management plan and have to cross the ‘Wisemans Ferry Car Ferry’ and drive via St Albans.
CABINS
There is going to be a designated vehicle and ticket checking area which is situated on private land before the festival event site as opposed to the road leading onto the site to avoid traffic congestion. Once your vehicle has been checked for a valid cabin car pass, your wristband scanned and your vehicle searched for alcohol, drugs and glass (please see What Not To Bring) you will be given a clearance pass which you will then need to produce at the final festival check point.
Please note you will receive full instructions when we send out your cabin info pack which will include 1 x car pass, instructions and cabin wristbands. You will need to purchase event tickets/wristbands for the event. Each cabin will only receive one car park pass and all the other cabin dwellers who are driving to the event will need to pre purchase an allocated car park in Wiseman’s Ferry and scan their wristband show ID and get their bags searched prior to boarding the ferry’s at the Wiseman’s Ferry jetty.
